My dear friend had a CD signing at our local library. Afterward, I walked around in the juvenile books section, and to my delight, I found a Tasha Tudor —The Springs of Joy!
I love Tasha’s work. I didn’t learn of her work until adulthood. With the book in hand, I sat down and read it.
Memories took me back to my first elementary library visit when I was in the 4th grade. That is when I found Laura Ingall’s Wilder books. I checked out Little House in the Big Woods. I love reading.
And after reading her book, I remember wanting to be a writer like her and write my farmgirl stories, too. And now, all these years later, I can say my dream came true!
